Hyaluronic Acid - Ostenil® Plus

What Is Hyaluronic Acid - Ostenil® Plus?

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance found within healthy joints.

It acts to lubricate and cushion joints during movement.

In osteoarthritis, both the quality and quantity of this fluid reduce over time.

This means a joint becomes less able to absorb shock, leading to pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility.

An ultrasound-guided hyaluronic acid injection replaces this lost lubrication, helping the joint glide more freely and reducing the symptoms associated with arthritis.

At Leeds Joint Injections we use Ostenil® Plus, one of the most widely used and clinically established hyaluronic acid products available.

We also offer other hyaluronic acid products, and if these are more appropriate, your injection specialist can offer these to you.
