Steroid Injections

£250

Steroids are a man-made version of hormones produced by the body. When injected into a joint, muscle, or in/around a tendon, steroid injections help to reduce inflammation and can provide relief from pain, swelling, and stiffness. These injections often work in conjunction with other treatments, such as hyaluronic acid injections or arthrosamid, to enhance their effectiveness. The effects of a steroid injection typically take 48-72 hours to manifest, although some patients may experience results immediately. The relief from the injection can last anywhere from 3-6 months, with some patients enjoying benefits for up to a year. Additionally, joint aspirations may be performed to further alleviate discomfort.

Ostenil Plus (Hyaluronic Acid) Injections

£275

Ostenil® Plus is a solution that contains hyaluronic acid, commonly used in hyaluronic acid injections. This injection works by restoring the normal balance between the breakdown and production of hyaluronic acid, the essential lubricant that allows joints to move freely and smoothly. The effects of an Ostenil® Plus injection are typically felt within 2-4 weeks and can last in excess of 6 months. Some conditions may benefit from both steroid injections and Ostenil® Plus injections, which can be administered at the same time. Additionally, we also offer joint aspirations and other hyaluronic acid treatments.

Arthrosamid Injections (Knee)

£2850

Introducing Arthrosamid, a groundbreaking product in the injection therapy market! Arthrosamid injections utilize a high volume hydrogel that effectively binds to the joint capsule and surfaces. This innovative solution is specifically designed for individuals suffering from severe knee joint pain, particularly in conditions like knee osteoarthritis. By lining the joint with this hydrogel, Arthrosamid acts as a long-lasting buffer between the weight-bearing bony surfaces of the knee, delivering significant relief compared to traditional options like steroid injections or hyaluronic acid injections. Experience the potential of Arthrosamid to reduce joint pain and improve your quality of life.

Joint Aspirations

£100

Aspiration is the removal of fluid from a swollen joint or other area. This procedure, often involving joint aspirations, can quickly reduce pain and restore joint movement. It can also be complemented by treatments such as hyaluronic acid injections or steroid injections to enhance recovery. Overall, this intervention can be a great way to get you back on the road to recovery and help you achieve full fitness, potentially alongside options like arthrosamid.

Hydrodilation Procedure (Shoulder)

£450

Hydrodilatation is a procedure designed to enhance movement and alleviate pain in the shoulder joint. This process involves stretching the joint capsule and reducing inflammation by injecting a combination of sterile saline, local anaesthetic, and steroid injections directly into the shoulder joint. Additionally, arthrosamid and hyaluronic acid injections may be used to further improve joint function. This procedure can often provide instant relief and is particularly effective for conditions such as a frozen shoulder, alongside other techniques like joint aspirations.

Prolotherapy

£250

Prolotherapy involves the injection of a sugar-based solution into an injured soft tissue. Such injections, which can include options like hyaluronic acid injections, are commonly used for ligament injuries to the knee and ankle. Additionally, while steroid injections and joint aspirations are also treatment options, prolotherapy can be administered as a single injection or a course of injections, depending on the nature and severity of the injury.

Ultrasound Scans & Guided Injections

Ultrasound Scans

We can provide ultrasound scans to help diagnose muscle, tendon, and ligament injuries. Additionally, we offer treatments such as hyaluronic acid injections, steroid injections, and joint aspirations to aid in recovery. Our services are available for just £100 per body part, ensuring you receive the best care for your needs, including options like arthrosamid injections.

Guided Injections

All our injections, including arthrosamid and hyaluronic acid injections, can be delivered via ultrasound guidance. However, this method is not necessary for all injections, such as steroid injections or joint aspirations.

Specialist Imaging & Onward Care

Should you require specialist imaging such as an x-ray, MRI, or CT scan, or need to see a consultant (surgeon), we can organize such services, including options like arthrosamid, hyaluronic acid injections, injection therapies, joint aspirations, and steroid injections. This ensures you receive the best possible care for your injury without the lengthy waiting lists!

No GP referal needed. All pre-injection and follow up care is included as part of your injection therapy fee. This includes your pre-injection consultation which can be in-person, or via phone or video call (you pick)!
